Darden B. Hurt, 56, of Blue Ridge passed away at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
He loved his “God”, the great outdoors and fishing. He can now fish in his heavenly eternal stream without pain and suffering.
Darden was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Marilyn Hurt, his brother, Tim Hurt, whom he missed greatly.
He is survived by his half-sister, Donna Christian and sister, Dawn Keenan; three wonderful friends, Lawrence Puckett (his fishing buddy,) Wayne Smith, and David Churchman.
Due to Darden’s wishes a graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015,
at 1:00 pm, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Moore officiating.
