Darrell William Bell, Sr. 70, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning on July 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Cathy Rowland Bell.
Born September 7, 1949 in Pittsylvania, County, Darrell was a son of the late Fred Wilbur Bell and Lillian Estelle Keesee Bell.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Darrell William Bell, Jr., Shaun Worley, Amy Russell, Gabrielle Kidd; six grandchildren; sisters; Patricia Howell and husband, Johnny, Becky Crandall, Debbie Bowling and brother; Duane Bell.
Darrell’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and beloved grandchildren.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Gladys, Virginia.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford is assisting the family.
