Mrs. Darvae Lynette Pannell Scott passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Pannell.
A native of Lynchburg Darvae was born on December 1, 1961 to her parents.
Darvae is survived by her loving husband of 7 years Elgie Scott Sr., two daughters; Cynthia and Crystal Scott, and also her son Curtis Pannell, three grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. A celebration of life for Darvae will be held at Noon following the visitation in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Burial Park.
