David B. Maggart

David B. Maggart, 73, of Lynchburg, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013. He was the husband of Dorothy Donovan Maggart. David was born in Elmira, NY on September 22, 1939 the son of the late Floyd B. Maggart and the late Violet Rosalie Herrington Maggart.

 

In addition to his wife, David is survived by one step-daughter, Beth White and husband, Wayne and one step-son, Arthur Donovan all of Lynchburg; two sisters, Elizabeth Spangler of Meadows of Dan and Elaine Greenfield of Elmira, NY; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Smith of Lynchburg and three nephews and one niece.

 

David was a retired truck driver and was a member of Jehovah\"™s Witnesses.

 

A memorial service celebrating David\"™s life will be conducted at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah\"™s Witnesses in Rustburg at 2:00 p.m., today, Saturday, May 25, 2013 with Mr. Tom Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Watchtower Society, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483.
