David Hudson Maxey, Jr., 46, of Lynchburg, died on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was the son of Louella Floyd Maxey and David H. Maxey, Sr. of Lynchburg.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters, Loretta Tinsley of Campbell County and her son, Billy Tinsley, and Sally Hale (Nathan) of Smith Mountain Lake and their children, Mandi Hale, Tyler Burford and Summer Hale; his grandmother, Faye Floyd of Lynchburg; his uncles, Otis J. Maxey, James C. Maxey, Carlton L. Maxey and aunt, Charlotte A. Seay; his aunts, Patricia Bryant, Brenda Witt, Paula Robertson, Deborah Goode and uncle, Larry Cash; and his best friend, Kasey Robertson.
David’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
