David Joseph Posid went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. David was the beloved son of Daniel and Amanda Posid, and loving brother to Alex. His smile and ability to connect with others were a true blessing, as we all remember him singing his favorite song, “Baby Beluga”.
“Baby D” is deeply loved by his grandparents, David and Beth Fowler, and Steve and Lynn Posid; his great-grandmother, Onalee Fowler; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth “Zizzy” Fowler, Jared Fowler, Ben Fowler, Matthew Posid, Sarah Miller, and their families; caring great aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with numerous friends and their families who all were touched by this precious boy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to help children in developing countries who share the same condition as David and are in need of medical equipment. A GoFundMe page has been set up in remembrance of God’s continued work in us to help others, just as baby David was an example of this with his joyful attitude. A celebration of David’s life will be held at Blue Ridge Community Church, 2361 New London Road, Forest, VA 24551, on Monday, November 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Todd Foster officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
