David Lee Wright, 71, of Moneta went to meet with our Lord Thursday, August 10, 2017. He passed peacefully and privately at his home with his loving wife, Gail Wright, his daughter, Missy Clifton and granddaughter Deja Napper by his side.
Born November 8, 1945 in Roanoke he was the son of the late Lloyd Wright and Frances Wright Beckner. He is preceded in death by his son: David Wayne Wright, his mother and sisters.
David is survived by his son-in-law; Alan Clifton; Grandchildren: Deja, Tony, Brittany, Melinda, Joshua, Brian; he had eight-greatgrandchildren; one special “brother” Ronnie and many other family members and friends.
David wanted to tell so many he loved them, but chose to die as he lived, privately, please know that he held so much love for so many of you. His heart was bigger than his personality and will be missed greatly.
Family ask that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to the ALS foundation, Per his request there will be no service.
