David MacNab

David Ronald MacNab, departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Born in Akron, OH., he was the son of Ida Walton. He was preceded in death by his mother, sister Rae Feldman, and wife Judith MacNab. 

David attended Miami Senior High School and joined the US Navy in 1950. He was a freemason and member of Orange Blossom Lodge #80 in Kissimmee, Florida. David was also a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. In addition to being a naval veteran, he was a police officer, real estate agent, building inspector, author, and plans reviewer. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, fishing, and taking cruises (58 total). 

He is survived by three sons, David MacNab Jr, Michael MacNab, and Matthew Clayton MacNab; 2 daughters, Sharon Peeples and Julie Knoell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and special friend, Loretta Kelly.  

Services will be held on Friday, November 17th at the Holy Name of Mary, 1307 Oakwood St, Bedford.
