David Paul Yoklic was called home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 after a brief, aggressive battle with cancer. He was 58 years old.
Dave was born on January 7, 1962 in Weirton, West Virginia. He was a good husband, loving father, a hard worker, and a loyal friend. He had a passion for Camaro’s, especially his 67’ that he built. He had a love for music, Def Leppard to be specific. He enjoyed always having his friends around working on different projects. He was also a part of the Frito Lay family for 17 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nick and Virginia Yoklic, and his sister Carol Yoklic.
He is survived by his wife Miranda Yoklic; children, Christian Yoklic and Kodi Thomas (York) ; brother, Nick Yoklic (Debbie), and Phil Yoklic (DiAndra), and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will not be a visitation or funeral, as we are respecting Dave’s wishes. There will be a celebration of life held at his home in Forest at a later date TBA.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
