Dave enjoyed spending time playing golf and leisure traveling with his wife Kathy. He also enjoyed spending time reading, gardening, and walking endless miles on the treadmill.  You could catch him on the sidelines of his grandchildren’s sporting events or taking them out on his boat at Smith Mountain Lake. Dave was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran church for 40 years.  Dave has been known to say, “It’s been a wonderful life.”
