David “Scott” Paris

David \"Scott\" Paris, 54, passed away at his home on November 4th, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with liver disease and pulmonary hypertension.  He was born August 30th, 1956 to the late William Patton and Marianne Paris.

Scott touched the lives of everyone he met and could strike up conversation with anyone. He loved the outdoors, golf, and fishing. When his children were young he coached little league football and basketball and was their number one fan.  After being diagnosed with liver disease he fought hard and never gave up, eventually getting a liver transplant in April, 2009.

Scott worked for Applied Industrial Technologies for 22 years as an Account Manager and loved his job and the wonderful people he worked with.  He often joked that he had the greatest job in the world, after all what other job would pay him to play golf, fish, and go to sporting events with customers he thought of as friends.

Scott is survived by his wife and soul mate of 32 years, Donna; a Daughter, Jennifer Cash, and her partner Christopher Naurocki of Madison Heights; and four grandsons Mason, Matthew, McKenna, and Maddox as well as numerous aunts uncles and cousins and  his best friends Stan and Janet Sosnowski.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Scott Paris, Jr.
