David Thomas Griffin, Jr., 49 of Lynchburg, died on Sunday, September 16, 2012, at his home.
He was born January 3, 1963 in Norfolk, a son of Patricia K. Robinson and the late David T. Griffin Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancée, Jamie Taylor; two sisters: Tina Dudley, and Mary Lamm, a brother: Jeff Lamm, a son and two step-daughters.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502, in care of the David Thomas Griffin Jr. Funeral Fund.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., noon, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Reverend Carlton Duck officiating.
