David Toyzer
David Toyzer, 89, of Appomattox died Tuesday February 20, 2012 in Lynchburg.
David was born May 31, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a son of the late Jacob Toyzer and the late Betsy Ginsburg Toyzer. David honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, returned home and became a successful textile business owner. He was also a member of Agudath Shalom Synagogue in Lynchburg.
He is surived by his loving and devoted friend Margie DeAtley of Appomattox, two daughters Ina and Linda, two grandsons, one brother Samuel Toyzer, and two devoted dogs "Bingo & Dash".
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 23, 2012 at Beth/Joseph Agudath Shalom Cemetery in Madison Heights with David Mars officiating.
