Debbie Trent Grishaw

Debbie Trent Grishaw, 50, of Lynchburg, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at her residence. Born October 8, 1959, in Lynchburg, she is the daughter of Shelby Carson Trent and Clayton Delaware Trent.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Lee Grishaw, her brother, Richard Trent and his wife, Amy Coutee Trent, of Lynchburg, her grandmother, Ruth Carson, a step-son, David Brandon Grishaw and his wife, Lisa, of Madison Heights, a step daughter, Stephanie Walsh and her husband, Brian, of Massachusetts, a special niece and nephew, Summer and Ben Trent, of Lynchburg, and her best friend, Kathy Evans, of Appomattox.

Debbie loved her home and took great pride in it. She was very close to her family, especially her niece and her nephew, but kept in touch with all her family. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs. Debbie was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday, March11, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Virginia.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, March12, 2010, in Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Concord, with the Rev. Frank Casper officiating.
