Debrah Porter Ayers
Debrah Porter Ayers, 64, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Kenneth Raymond Ayers.
Born June 9, 1953 in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Floyd “Burks” Porter and Thelma Coleman Porter.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children: Christiana Ann Craig and husband, Frankie, Cristy Lynn Wood, Katherine Lois Ayers, Jason Allen Wood and wife, Patty, Sherri Lynn Ayers; grandchildren: Justin Ayers, Samathana Craig, Carson Craig, Bianca Craig, Bryson Ayers, Justin, Justina, and Jace Wood, Taylor Daniel, Tyler Daniel, Whitney Ayers, Dakota Ayers, Five great grandchildren; brother: Cleve Porter and wife, Sandy; and numerus nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford, Friday, November 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with the Pastor Eric Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Longwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
