At the age of 16, Demonyea Antonio Brown, closed his eyes to rest peacefully with the Lord on October 26th, 2024, in Amherst, Va.
He made his one-of-a-kind entrance into the world on September 4th, 2008, to Mother Ebony Brown and Father Leroy Fleshman right at home in Lynchburg, Va.
In addition to his parents, Yea as he was affectionally called, leaves behind to cherish his memory his Maternal Grandmother: Mary Ann Brown; Maternal Great-grandmother: Pauline Edwards; Paternal Grandmother: Shirley Fleshman and Paternal Grandfather: Leroy Baily. Three brothers; Demontra Brown, Dasan Hall, and Iam King Fleshman, three sisters; Aniyah Rae Fleshman, Dalijah Culpepper, and Jayonna Brown, Uncle; Montreal Brown, Aunts; Amber Ford, Sierra Ford, and Yolanda “BB” Ford, cousin; Amaria Brown, his friends also known as “The Gang”, a host of other cousins, family members, friends, and his right-hand man Lucci.
Yea was known for being the funny guy with an “old soul” from a very young age. He was protective over the people he held close and didn’t mind “keeping it 100 with you”. As he grew older, his tough exterior could never replace the true warmth of his heart. Those bright eyes and contagious smiles will surely be missed.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many acts of kindness, expressions of love, and prayers during this time. May God continue to bless you all.
