Dennis E. Meador

Dennis Earl Meador, 64, of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born on November 28, 1953 in Bedford County. He is the son of the late Lafayette Meador and survived by his mother Lois Mae Reynolds Meador. In addition to his father Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Junior Meador.

Dennis worked and traveled as a Boilermaker for most of his working career. He loved farming, horseback riding and working with his hands. He will be missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.

In addition to his mother Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Linda “Lou” Wood Meador; two children, Carla M. Kloss and her husband, Travis of Summerville, SC and Justin Meador and his wife, Audrey of Mooresville, NC; one granddaughter, Rainey;

three brothers, Ronnie Meador, Doug Meador and Tim Meador; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018 in Greenwood Cemetery.
