February 27, 1957 — March 30, 2023

Dennis Wayne “Burk” Burdette, 66, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital after battling Epilepsy his entire life.

Dennis was born in Bedford County, Virginia on February 27, 1957, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Reggie and Ila Burdette. Dennis had a heart of gold. He would help anyone he could. Before his health failure, Dennis enjoyed fishing, planting, flowers, collecting different things especially four-leaf clovers, watches, and knives. His favorite shows were “Lets Make A Deal,” “The Price is Right,” and “Walker Texas Ranger.” But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Almost every baby born into the family, he would give a nickname that made his heart full.
