Derek Blair Marple, 44, of Forest died Friday April 10, 2015.
Derek was born October 3, 1970 in Tallahassee, FL a son of Gary E. Marple and Marcia B. Marple both of Forest. Derek was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and an active member at the ARC of Central Virginia and Timberlake United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he was survived by his sister Lisa Marple of Forest, aunt Rachel Ellis of Phillipsburg, KS, aunt & uncle Michael and Teresa Beaugh of New Richland Hills, TX, aunt Carol Summers of Salt Lake City, UT, and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Derek’s Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday April 13, 2015 at Timberlake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynne Alley-Grant and the Rev. Daniel Abrams officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service.
