Desiree O’Neil Padgett
Desiree O'Neil Padgett, 57, of Lynchburg, VA, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born Wednesday, December 29, 1954 in Lynchburg, Desiree was a daughter of the late Kenneth Haynes Padgett and Shirley O'Neil Burks Padgett.
Desiree is survived by three sons: Marvin C Wilson. III, and his fiancée Marsha, of Lynchburg, Brian J. Wilson and his wife, Vicky, of Bedford, and Noah C. Clemmons, of Lynchburg; a brother, Demaris H. Padgett and his wife, Shirel, of Lynchburg, a sister, Denise P. Poore and her husband, Glenn, of Anderson, SC, a granddaughter, Kelsea Newman, a niece, Erica Poore, of Anderson, SC, and a nephew, Christopher Poore, of Anderson, SC.
Desiree loved her boys; if they were ok she was ok. She was a very spiritual and loving person who lived life to its fullest. Her love was unconditional. Desiree had an amazing spirit and the ability to uplift others. She is now with her Lord and Savior.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Marvin C. Wilson, Jr. officiating.
