Dewey White Mayberry
Dewey White Mayberry, 91, of Bedford, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Campbell Rest Home. Born April 10, 1919 in Bedford County, a son of the late Emma Cordelia White Mayberry and Travis Camden Mayberry.
Dewey was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church and a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his parents, Dewey was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Marie Coffey Mayberry; one brother, Travis Henry Mayberry. He is survived by two nieces, Janice Dooley and her husband, Gerald and Joan Leidich both of Bedford; a stepdaughter, Janet Ellis and husband, Ernest of Moneta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Flores and Rev. Eugene Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM, Monday, December 27, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
