Diane B. Brock, 79, of Bedford, passed away on September 1, 2015 at her home after a long illness. Born on April 28, 1936, she is the daughter of the late Donald Whitfield Bernard and Kathryn Irene Kerr Bernard.
Diane was a registered nurse and retired as a psychiatric nurse at the veteran’s hospital in Salem, Virginia. She was an avid collector of Miniatures, dolls, models, figurines etc. She also enjoyed traveling to shows near and far to share her love and hobby with others, especially her dear friend Nancy Scott. Diane also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edgar John “Jack” Brock, Jr; her two sons, David Brock and his wife Jo Ellen and John Brock and his wife, Whitney; her two daughters, Kathryn Manning and Karen Scott and her husband, Randy; 10 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren; also her brother, Allan Donald Bernard.
