Diane Garrett

Diane Damewood Garrett, 66, of Montvale, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born in Roanoke, VA on June 17, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Melvon Damewood and Etta Mae Weeks.

Diane is survived by her husband, Danny Garrett; two children, Janet Reynolds and Jeffrey Garrett; three grandchildren, Garrett Reynolds, Mason Reynolds and Makenna Garrett; four brothers, Larry Damewood, James Muncie, Barry Martin and Gary Martin; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service and celebration of Diane’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford with Rev. Donnie G. Glass officiating.
