Diann Reed Hall

It is with great sadness that the family of Diann Reed Hall, announce her passing after a brief illness. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Roanoke, Va. Diann was 76 and resided in Wirtz, Va. She is now in heaven with her loving husband, James Edwin Hall.
Diann will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Beckley Diann Long (Bryan); great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Long and Nehemiah Long; nephew, Levi Reed; niece, Hannah Elaine Reed Widener (Christian); great-nieces, Sydney Widener, Fralin Widener, and Karianne Reed; her canine companion, Baxter; extended family, and dear friends.
In addition to her husband, she now joins her parents, William Phillips Reed and Mary Elizabeth Fralin Reed, in heaven.
Diann loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a long time employee of the Franklin County School System. Diann had a giving and loving nature, which she especially showed toward animals. She was loved by so many people and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to Living Word Deaf Church, 4130 Waterlick Road, Forest, Va. 24451.
At Diann’s request, no services will be held.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Smith Mountain Lake, is assisting the family.
