Dianne Crews Leonard
Dianne Crews Leonard, 65, of Lynchburg died Sunday, November 18, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Elmo Howard and Vivian Phelps Crews.
Dianne was born February 19, 1947 in Lynchburg, Va. She was a receptionist for The Greater Lynchburg Transit Company. She attended Tree of Life Ministries. Dianne had a special love for her animals and going to the mountains.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph Michael Stern and Robert \"Howie\" Stern and a daughter; Tammy Lynn Stern all of Lynchburg: three grandchildren; one great grandchild and a very dear and special friend, Laura Winston of Gladys. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Lee Leonard.
A Celebration of Dianne\"™s Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers please consider making memorial contributions to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 3305 Naval Reserve Street, Lynchburg, VA 24501, and Tree of Life, 2812 Greenview Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
