Dolly Marie Vaughan Tuck, 88, of Forest passed away on July 1, 2016. She was the wife of the late Charles Ryland Tuck, Sr. for 59 years.
Born in Charlotte County on August 18, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Silas Leonard Vaughan and Cora Elizabeth Sampson Vaughan. In Addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.
Dolly retired from the Mead Corporation, where she worked as a secretary and receptionist, and was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church. She was an exceptional homemaker, incredible cook, a wonderful, caring mother, and a loyal, loving wife, and caregiver. She had a deep love for her family, friends, and church family.
Our loving mother was very special and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, Charles Ryland Tuck, Jr. and David Bryan Tuck and his wife, Dana, of Forest; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016, in Fort Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. Randy Bower officiating.
