Dolores Carol Tuttle Mullins

Dolores Carol Mullins, 61, of Hurt, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
Born on January 29, 1954, in Moundsville, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles Tuttle and the late Mary Haught Tuttle.
Left behind to cherish Carol’s memory are her children, Matthew Keatts and his wife, Elizabeth, Kim Smith and her husband, Barry, and Christie Wood; her grandchildren, Dillon Smith and his wife, Laci, Cody Smith, and Luke Wood; her cousin, Judy Chambers; and her special friends, Bob Duffield, Debbie Daniel, and Mary Jane Tyll.
Carol’s real passion was being a caregiver to children. She was a “mama” to everyone, and took care of everyone she met. Carol was part Cherokee, and very proud of her Native American heritage. She was a proud, loving woman who will be missed by everyone.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
