On May 29, 2011, the sun set on the life of Don Tosi.  He is preceded in death by his father, Neal A. Tosi and his mother, Creolia \"Pat\" Tosi. He is survived by his wife Debi Tosi and his three children Mary Claiborne, Neal, and Travis Tosi. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Matt Sheets, sister-in-laws, Ticia Sheets, and Leslie Carter. He loved his family and took great pride in his wife and children!  He will be remembered for his lengthy and heartfelt toasts for every occasion. His optimistic outlook, love, and laughter will be greatly missed by his relatives, close friends, and all of the people who knew him.

Don was born in Lynchburg, VA on October 10, 1944. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam.  He graduated from CVCC with a degree in business in 1972. He was selected as CVCC Alumnus of the Year in 2003.  Don was the president of the CVCC Alumni Association and was dedicated to CVCC\"™s educational vision for Lynchburg.  Don was an optician, and then began a career in sales. For 23 years, he was employed as a salesman for Southern Maintenance and Supply Company.  Don was a past president of the Cancer Society and also an active committee member of Lynchburg\"™s Relay for Life. Don was a member of Peakland United Methodist Church. His faith enabled his positive outlook and gave him strength. Don was a proud member of Oakwood Country Club and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.

We want to thank the Lynchburg General Hospital\"™s staff, oncology nurses, Dr. Dwight Oldham, and Dr. Jack MacNeill for their professionalism, care, and most of all their compassion.
