Donald Erle Lee

Donald E. Lee, of Midlothian, VA passed into the loving arms of his precious Savior on October 17, 2018.  He was married for 67 years and now joins the love of his life, Jean Blanks Lee.  He was the beloved Dad to Donnie Lee (Jackie), Mike Lee (Lisa), Debbie Cline (Butch), Bev Lee, and Papa to eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Educated at UVA where he played football, and Lynchburg College, he served in WWII as a Navy Lt., worked as a surveyor, high school teacher and basketball coach, and an engineer with the Lynchburg City Water Department for 35 plus years.  He served as an Elder at Rivermont Presbyterian Church and was also involved with the Civitan Club and American Legion.

A celebration of life service will be held at Huguenot Road Baptist Church in Midlothian, VA at 2:00 p.m. October 21st.   Burial will be at Fort Hill Memorial Park, Lynchburg, VA at 12:00 p.m. October 22nd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Huguenot Road Baptist Church or Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
