Donald Lee Tiller

 

 Donald Lee Tiller, 78, passed away in Lynchburg, VA on December 23, 2013, after a short illness.

Donnie was born on July 2, 1935, in Glen Allen, VA to Raymond Otha and Nettie Lee (Price) Tiller. He retired from the trucking industry. Donnie raised Shih Tzu puppies and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He will be remembered for his very kind heart.

In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth T. and Sammy Donald, and Lucille T. and Arthur Coleman, his brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Margaret Tiller, brother, Nathaniel Tiller, his infant son, and his devoted companion, Helen Burgess.

Left to mourn Donnie's passing are his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley T. and Warren Abbott, his special niece and husband, Gloria and Buddy Johns, 11 nieces and nephews and 3 more generations who total 38 members of his extended family.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at noon, in Springhill Cemetery, 3000 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia 24501.
