Donald Robert Nunziato
Donald Robert Nunziato, 78, of Amherst died Thursday December 22, 2011. He was the devoted husband of Terese K. Linton for 23 years.
Donald was born in West New York, New Jersey on December 6, 1933 a son of the late Rafael Nunziato and the late Mildred Hranek Nunziato. Donald was a graduate of Columbia University where he played football. He then worked proudly as a Civil Engineer, developer and contractor. His local employers were Wiley & Wilson, Nelson County Service Authority, and JMT, Inc. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club of Lynchburg.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one child and three step-children: Stephen Nunziato and wife Marija of Newton, NJ; Lorraine Levinson and husband Dan of Rye, NY; Robert Linton and wife Susan of Forest Hills, NY; and Tricia Holden and husband George of Amherst, Nine grandchildren: Justin, Stephanie, Travis, and Phillip Nunziato, Brian, Mark, and Patricia Jane Levinson, Alexander and Charlotte Holden, one step-great-grandchild, Declan Levinson, and one brother Bill Nunziato of Lavalette, NJ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Gail Nunziato.
A Celebration of Donald\"™s Life will be held at a later date.
