Donalyn Henry Moore

Donalyn Mae Henry Moore, 81, of Moneta, Virginia passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Dr. Donald Edward Henry and Marilyn Mae Howlett Henry.

Donalyn was born on April 14, 1943, in Oneida, NY. She attended school at Canastota Central Schools, then pursued her education in a Bachelors in Education at Oswego State University.  

She enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking. Her greatest joy though was spending time with her family, friends and a love of animals.   

Donalyn is survived by her husband, James Moore; children, Miranda Moore Orlowski and husband, John, Jesse Henry Moore and wife, Stacy and Victoria Amber Pease and husband, Corey; grandchildren, Madison Orlowski, Audrey Orlowski, Claudia Orlowski, Mason Moore, Molly Moore, Morgan Pease and Foster Pease and siblings, Nancy Pulverenti, Patricia Sykes, Barbara Henry and Lois Brown.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
