Dora Comer Carpenter
Dora Lee Comer Carpenter, 79, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Born January 14, 1932 in Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Lawson William Comer and the late Maude Johnson Comer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Allen Berkley Comer.
Dora is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jack Carpenter; her son, Kevin D\"™wayne Carpenter and wife Tammy Lee of Green Bay, WI; grandson, Austin Churchill Carpenter; sister-in-law Shirley Comer; and nephews, Bobby, Rick, and Tim Comer.
The family will receive friends 6 \"" 8 PM, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home. Services will be held at a future date. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
