Dora Eunice (Doe) Leebrick

Dora Eunice (Doe) Leebrick died September 17, 2012, at The Summit in Lynchburg. She was born February 6, 1921, in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Bland Washington Leebrick of Lynchburg and the late Sarah Eunice White Leebrick of Nelson County. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William Leebrick, Bland Leebrick, and Reams Leebrick.

Miss Leebrick is survived by three nephews: John Page Leebrick and Thomas Sekin Leebrick (wife, B.J.) of Lynchburg, and The Rev. Bland Allen Leebrick, Jr. (wife, Katherine) of Reidsville, North Carolina; two nieces: Gloria Anne Leebrick Keesee of Columbia, Maryland, and Deborah Maria Leebrick Isley (husband, Bill) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; also, four great nieces: Melinda Whitfield, Katie Doyle, Elizabeth Leebrick, and Rhiannon Leebrick Johnson; three great-nephews: Alan Keesee, Brandon Leebrick, and Ben Isley; three great-great-nieces: Maebel Clay Leebrick Johnson, Payton Keesee, and Layne Keesee.

 Miss Leebrick graduated from E. C. Glass High School and was a long time legal secretary to the late John L. Abbot, Esquire, and retired from the Lynchburg Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. She was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church where she served as organist for many years.

 The family wishes to thank the staff at The Summit for the tender, loving, and compassionate care given to our Aunt.

 A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg with The Reverend Bland Allen Leebrick, Jr. officiating.
