Doris Gerould Langhange

Doris Jeanette Gerould Langhage, 96, of Huddleston, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. Born July 26, 1916 in Rochester, NY; she was a daughter of the late Raymond Gerould and Irene Peter Gerould.

Doris will be remembered as a kind and gentle lady who always had a smile on her face. She treasured her husband and loved her family unconditionally. Doris truly enjoyed doing things for others. She also enjoyed her time at Smith Mountain Lake. Her family and friends will remember her also as a good cook.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband August Christian Langhage and two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Gerould. Doris leaves behind her daughter, Doris G. Pilcz and husband, Michael, son Robert A. Langhage and wife, Joyce, a sister Shirley Ham and husband, Joe, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 1 PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Salvador Añonuevo celebrating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
