Dorothy Ann Spencer Shepherd

Dorothy Ann Spencer Shepherd, 89, of Richmond, departed this life February 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Shepherd, Sr. 

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, George Albert “Jerry” Shepherd, Jr, Stephen Shepherd and Telis Shepherd (Alice); daughter, Cassandra (Cassie) Shepherd; six grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held from 10 A.M. until 7 P.M. Thursday March 6, 2025. Remains will be forwarded Friday, to Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, 220 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, Va., where funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025 in the chapel. Interment Lynchburg Baptist Cemetery, 320 Wigginton Rd. Lynchburg, Va. 24502.
