Dorothy Armstrong

Dorothy R. Armstrong, 87, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Born October 29, 1924 in Ticonderoga, New York; she was a daughter of the late Eva and Harold Ross.

 Dorothy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and playing cards. She had a great love of music, flowers, birds, and animals.

 In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Armstrong; and brothers, Edward Ross and Robert Ross.

 She is survived by her children, Sue A. Farrance, Karen A. Burnham, Ron D. Armstrong; grandchildren, Rebecca V. Burnham, Wyatt Burnham, and Katie L. Armstrong; and a sister Shirley Koledo.
