Among her many relatives and friends, Dee Dee leaves to cherish her memory, her son Denzel Hood; brother, Lively “LC” Leftwich (Nancy); nephew, Lamar Leftwich; and a devoted aunt Catherine L. Vaughan.
Dorothy will lie in repose Tuesday, May 8, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Piney Hill Baptist Church, 320 Slapp Creek Rd, Amherst, VA, Rev. Donald Rucker, eulogist.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
