Dorothy Edwards Miller, 96, of Nelson County, VA, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was the wife of the late James J. Miller of Pennsville, NJ.
Born May 26, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA. She retired from Trinity United Methodist Church as Church Secretary, where she was also a member, serving in many positions. Upon moving to Nelson County, VA in 1998, Dot became an active member of Nelson County United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Jim Miller and his wife, Kim of Nelson County, VA; grandsons: Joseph and his wife Jackie of Amesbury, Mass. and Lukas Miller of Harrisonburg; great grandchildren: Charlotte, Nathan, Penelope and Thomas Miller; niece: Marion DuBois, husband Norman and family, nephew: Bill Manlove, wife, Edna and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Miller, a brother, Sonny Edwards; two sisters: Viola Manlove and Mildred Crosset and a grandchild: Cheryl Jane Miller.
Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date.
