Dorothy Leah Mckee Kearns

Dorothy Leah McKee Kearns, 88, of Lynchburg, VA, formerly of Huntington, WVA, died on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born on September 11, 1926 in Chesapeake, Ohio, a daughter of the late Bryan McKee and the late Pauline McLaughlin McKee.
Dorothy was a member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church and a proud graduate of Marshall University, which she has continued to support since her years there.
Dorothy is survived by one son, William Kearns and his wife, Renata of Sterling, VA; one grandson, Shawn Kearns and his wife, Jennifer of Lynchburg, VA, with whom she has made her home for the last three years; and one brother, Joseph McKee of South Point, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by one grandson, Daniel Markham and one sister, Betty McKee Whaley.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
