Dreama Kay McCormick, 59, of Holcomb Rock, died Thursday, November 05, 2015.
Born Saturday, March 10, 1956 in Waynesboro, VA, Dreama was a daughter of Gene Ella Gilbert McCormick, and the late Garrett Eugene McCormick
In addition to her mother, Dreama is survived by her sisters, Ruth M. Harvey and her husband, Glenn, of Forest, Donna J. McCormick, of Bedford, and Twila M. Cantrall and her husband, Peter, of Norfolk, three nephews, Lonnie D. Miles, of Bedford, Justin P. Woodford, of Bedford, and Zachary M. Gibson, of Lynchburg, dear friends David Rowland and Anna C. Wood, and her beloved cats Max and Kibbs.
Dreama was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt with a heart the size of an ocean. She loved the outdoors and wildlife, gardening, travel, and was an avid fan of bull riding and other rodeo sports. A member of Heritage Baptist Church, Dreama was a proud Virginian, devoted to her family and Southern heritage.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 08, 2015 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 09, 2015 in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington, with Dr. Gerald Kroll officiating.
