Drene Iseman Hawkins

Drene Iseman Hawkins, 63, of Lynchburg died Monday September 20, 2010. She was the loving wife of Thomas Spencer Hawkins.

 Drene was born March 1, 1947 in Amherst County a daughter of the late Woodford Cleveland Iseman and the late Eva Ashley Iseman. Drene was a devoted homemaker and a member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church.  

 In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Penny Hawkins Fisher and her husband Steve of Lynchburg, two brothers; Kinkle B. Iseman of Lynchburg and Zan Iseman of Madison Heights, three sisters; Juanita Price of Amherst, Arlene Horton of Lynchburg, and Diano Taliaferro of Madison Heights, and two grandchildren Jasmine Renee and Spencer Lee Fisher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Woodrow Iseman.

 The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg and all other times at her residence, 1103 Dearing Street, Lynchburg.

A reception will be held at 6:00 pm Friday September 24, 2010 at Langhorne Chapel on Leesville Road in Evington.
