Duane Edward Lovelace, 51, of Goode, Va., died Friday, July 5, 2019. He was the son of Earnestine Steele Lovelace and Phillip Lovelace.
Duane was born on June 21, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Brookville High School, and was a graduate of ECPI.
In addition to his parents, Duane is survived by his son Jordon Howard Mitchell; two aunts, Sharon Thomas and Leah Childress; two uncles, Raymond (Sue) Steele and Leon (Patty) Steele; his childhood friend, William Craft and many loving cousins. Duane was preceded in death by his uncle Carl Steele.
A celebration of Duane’s life will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Rev. Ken Parrish officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior.
