Dustin Owen Mcfaden

Dustin Owen McFaden, 40 of Goode, found peace in the merciful arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was born in Bedford, Co. on March 8, 1978. He is the son of Wanda Garraghty Morris and husband, Wayne and Bev McFaden and wife, Beverly.

Dustin loved the outdoors and God’s creation, from Hunting, Fishing, driving fast cars especially Mustang’s. He also loved spending time with his family and friends while camping and traveling. One of Dustin’s favorite spots to camp was North Bend Campground. He attended church at Bedrock Community Church and found comfort being a part of the Shrader Life Group. Dustin never met a stranger and touched all the lives of those he encountered. He will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents Dustin is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Joy McFaden; his greatest blessing and the light of his life his two daughters, Autumn Nicole McFaden and Brianna Lynn McFaden. They were daddy’s girls. He is also survived by a brother, Corey McFaden; step-sister, Mary Morris; maternal grandfather, James H. Garraghty and wife, Kathy, maternal grandmother, Linda M. Johnson, Paternal grandmother, Margaret P. McFaden; mother and father-in-law, Barney and Brenda Joy; brother-in-law, Michael Joy and wife, Shannon; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many great friends. Dustin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, C.O. McFaden; his wife’s grandmother who he thought dearly of, Nora C. Williamson.

A memorial service and celebration of Dustin’s life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Chapel in Bedford with Pastor Mack Almond and Pastor Jonge Tate officiating.
