Duval A. Davis, Sr., 79, of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
Duval was born on October 6, 1935, in Lynchburg to the late Roy and Mamie Davis. He proudly served his country during the 1950’s in the National Guard. A hardworking man, he spent over forty years in masonry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Pauline, Barbara, Nancy, and Paul.
Left behind to cherish Duval’s memory are his children, Duval Davis, Jr. and Tammy Sue Carmichael; his former spouse, Billie Sue Davis; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
