E. Louise Beemer Cheatham
E. Louise Beemer Cheatham, retired Commissioner of the Revenue in Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday November 23, 2011. Born February 5, 1933 Louise was raised by her grandmother Gladys Beemer and her Aunt Ruth Beemer. Louise retired from the Commissioner of the Revenue office in Lynchburg with 40 years service.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Everette \"Bookie\" Cheatham, her Grandmother, and Aunt.
She leaves to cherish her friendship, lifelong friends, Ralph and Nancy Hickman, and friends Brenda Nuckles, Jean Davidson, Merol Jennings, and Dexter Gaines.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Friday December 2, 2011 at First Christian Church with the Rev. David Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church from 11:00 am until 12 noon.
