Earnest Lewis Reynolds, 90, of Lynchburg, Va., went to his Heavenly Home on March 28, 2018, after a short illness.
Born in Lynchburg on November 8, 1927, he was a son of the late Madge and Garland Reynolds.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Delores Layne Reynolds, and two brothers, Russell Lee Reynolds and John Samuel Reynolds.
He is survived by one brother, Edward Thornton Reynolds; nephews, Shawn Reynolds (Freida) and Brandon Reynolds (Karen); nieces, Karen Gayle Reynolds and Sherry Reynolds-Hart (John); and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
An electrician by trade, Lewis was retired from the U.S. Marine Corp (Sgt.) after 31 years of honorable service. He was a member of Christ Community Church of Madison Heights, Va., and regularly attended Cowboy Church in Amherst, Va.
Family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Glen Shelton following visitation with interment immediately after at Spring Hill Cemetery.
