Edith Mae Slater Moss

Edith S. Moss joined a great Heavenly Reunion Sunday, October 8, 2017 from Bedford County Nursing Home with her loved ones around her. She was born December 4, 1923 in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Brown Moss; her parents, Wilber (Bob) Slater and Rosie Canter Slater; sister, Mary S. Miller; brothers, Sam Slater, Dariel (Curly) Slater.

Surviving to cherish her reunion are five sons, Raymond C. Moss of Body Camp, Billy R. Moss, Ralph L. Moss, Roger W. Moss, Ricky W. Moss, all of Bedford; five daughters, Ann M. Reynolds of Pearisburg, Mary M. Clark, Joyce A. Moss of Bedford, Janie M. Goff of Big Island, Janice M. Saunders of Huddleston; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. William E. Clark, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
