Edith Marie Elliott Robertson, 78 of Forest, Virginia, a recent resident of Heartland Lynchburg, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was the wife of Henry Winston Robertson for 60 years.
Born Monday, March 23, 1942 in Lynchburg, Virginia, Edith was the daughter of the late George Elliott and the late Hilda Goodman Elliott.
In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by a brother Aubrey Elliott and a sister Linda Cox.
In addition to her husband, Edith is survived by a daughter Katrina Heeb and husband Walter, a granddaughter Olivia Heeb-Wade and husband Nick, all of Staunton, Va. She is also survived by a son, Greg Robertson and a brother, David Elliott.
Edith was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church, Forest Va. and employed by Chap Stick Co in Lynchburg, Va., on the assembly line. She kept children in her home for almost 30 years. She and Henry made many lifelong friends of the parents and children they kept over the years.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Virginia Memorial Park located at 11490 Forest Road Forest, Virginia 24551 with the Pastor Charlie Johnson, Jr. officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Methodist Church, Forest Va. or a charity of your choice.
