Edna Hall Crunkleton, 97, of Bedford went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018. She was the wife of the late Thomas N. Crunkleton. Born October 10, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Landon and Thenie Hopkins Hall. Edna was also preceded in death by 17 siblings and her three children: Ernest and Marvin Crunkleton; Mary Johnson.
She is survived by 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Virginia Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Larry Ross. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
